So the day didn’t start on the best foot. It was without family. It wasn’t the same, but the walk in the park in the sun after a belly full of food was the silver lining. I could watch her smile all day.

It’s #Eid this weekend, and the first one we won’t be spending with family. We might drive down to Sheffield and say hello through the window/garden.

I’ll be baking and cooking our Eid dinner and sharing it with our neighbours (via doorstep drop offs). ❤️ #CovEid2020

In other news, this is the face of a toddler who would be up till 11pm and then awake at 5am the next morning. Mischievous grins and cuddles make up for it, though only just.

In our short walk I turned into a walking & talking chair for Ayda and my head became part of her percussion set. Or she was giving me a head massage. Still undecided.

Today we are tidying up the garden while I stop her from eating the soil.

This was us after work yesterday taking our one walk / exercise to the park. I’m not going to go into the difficulties of working from home and looking after this one - or how much or a challenge it is for her too.

We’ve kind of figured out a routine but today and tomorrow is my day off and she’s got my full attention. In fact, I think she’s already had enough of me 😅
