The day I found out about my PCOS

Earlier in my life, I’d experience symptoms that hinted towards PCOS, however it was only diagnosed recently (at the tender age of 36.)

The doctor broke the news by the way of worse case scenario – I had:

  • Borderline diabetes
  • High blood-pressure
  • Other health implications

And I was given a real handy leaflet (all freshly printed out with half of the pages missing. Swell.)

I’m not really sure what this means, but it’s something I’ll inevitably begin to talk about in my blog.  It’s something I am diagnosed with at the age of 36, and as I read more about it – I realise how difficult it is to diagnose. I mean, I spent a really long time asking GPs if this could be something I had – but was always dismissed.

Anyhoo, here’s to healthy eating and getting a healthy balance. If you have any resources, tips and advice – do give me a shout.
